Thanks! I want to say

by Nathan Hamm on 8/22/2003

I want to say thanks to the Marmot’s Hole
for the glowing review. Yes, I was in the Peace Corps in
Uzbekistan–UZ-10, 2000-2001 (we were evacuated for ridiculous
reasons). I lived in Navoi City, capital of the Navoi Region. Sean-Paul
had quite an experience
there. It’s about halfway between Samarkand and Bukhara, right on the
Silk Road. There’s very little reason for most people to stop there,
but it’s the second wealthiest city in the county, pretty nice.
Anyhow, I’ll regale you all with tales of my time there every now and
then. As you can imagine, I have more than a few stories to tell.
