Those crazy Uzbeks Uzbekistan beat

Those crazy Uzbeks
Uzbekistan beat Latvia 3-0
in a friendly match as the Uzbeks prepare for the Asian Cup. There was
a fight in the final minutes of the game. How I wish I could have seen
that true expression of the Friendship of the Peoples of the Soviet
Union (to my knowledge, the only politically Soviet monument in a
high-traffic area in Uzbekistan is one to said friendship). Also,
Uzbekistan declared war on Afghan starlings.
They want to wipe out 20% of the population in Uzbekistan to protect
crops. If you are in need of hunting cartridges, book a flight to
Tashkent, you get one cartridge for every two starling feet.
