Ex-President Shevardnadze has offered a job that he’s apparently accepted–advisor to Kofi Annan.

He’ll be a great fit. He’s got plenty of experience with running corrupt organizations.

Do you mean the 661 Committee that passed on investigating the reports of the kickbacks, or the US foreign office that merely “took note of” illegal exports of hundreds of thousands of barrels a day to Jordan and Turkey?
