Stupid Things

by Nathan Hamm on 4/18/2004

In writing my the Central Asia Briefing, I found a few little tidbits of interest–mostly Russia news.

The first though is just kind of amusing. It seems that a little outfit called the Ashiyane Digital Security Team has hacked News Central Asia, a site that looks to be little more than a Turkmen government mouthpiece.

Now for the news from Russia

Russian doctors boast of their mighty accomplishment in implanting an artificial penis. Not to think too much like Buck Turgid or anything, but I fear there’s a dangerous gap in the implant race.

Moscow police have the right idea. Flash mobs are dumb. They must be crushed with an iron fist.

Hiding something?

They’re still doing subotnik? I actually have a children’s book about Lenin and subotnik. Even that couldn’t make it seem like a good idea.

Why you gotta be hatin’ on Israel, Moscow? You got yours.
