Thanks for the Canada Day wishes. Very thoughtful of you to have crossed out the Great White North. I didn’t know we have 11 climate zones, but it makes sense. Have you followed the other links on the embassy’s myth busting website? They’re not quite as funny, and many refer to some frustrating misconceptions. Such as “Canada has a large number of illegal immigrants.” Seems a sad sign if an embassy feels they have to set such things straight. But then . . . there are also many Canadians with misconceptions about their own country.
