How does it feel?

Hmmm… I wonder what it feels like to be an American shill for Russian imperialism. How does one get so monomaniacally fixed on the idea that Russia’s a victim growing up in New Jersey?

Screw it. I don’t want to deal with the nitty-gritty.

Irkali certainly knows his stuff and he uses his close acquaintance with the Caucasus as a weapon to exclude all others from commenting–including bloggers who comment on his stuff such as yours truly and Matt. This guy is a goddamned mooninite, don’t even try to comprehend him.

Irkali makes some good points. He’s a witty genius if you’re looking for a new way to convince yourself America is out to secretly conquer the world (and especially make Russians suffer). If you’re looking for a discussion of the Caucasus that does not at all talk about Russian complicity, by all means check him out. If you feel that math and measures are subjective, he’s incredible. However, if you can’t see through him, I’m not going to convince you, so that’s why I’m not trying.

It doesn’t surprise me that some young people are carrying the banner of Russian chauvinism. I just didn’t expect New Jersey natives to be proudly waving that banner.

(Hat tip to Andy–good to have you back from Crete. And, I felt like a pissy bitch writing this, but I didn’t feel like toning it down like I usually do.)

He should sell his ‘ideas’ to Michael Moore for the next award-winning masterpiece.

Boy talk about revisionist history. How do people convince themselves of these wild ideas?

Whoa. That guys is nuts.

Whoah indeed.

I’d quit reading his hyperventilating crap a few months ago, once the sugar buzz from Sobaka’s writing style wore off. The hell with this, I thought. I can get the same thing from Exile.ru, and at least those guys have a sense of humor.
