Plov (if you’re lucky) in Philadelphia

In the spirit of all of Laurence’s restaurant related posts. We have an Uzbek restaurant, imaginatively named “Tashkent Restaurant,” in the heart of the Russian part of town.

I love going there. It’s just like Uzbekistan. There are all kinds of shady things going on, boisterous Russian parties (it’s BYOB), nightclub singers on the weekends, and occasionally, no plov. Just like Uzbekistan.
