Putin Lovefest

by Nathan Hamm on 10/18/2004 · 1 comment

I’ve noticed a handful of bloggers on the right side of the fence getting a little excited by Putin’s wordy endorsement of Bush. For example, Ace seems thrilled, Goldstein mentions it as only he can, Dr. Shackleford says Putin is just saying what everyone’s thinking, Kevin waves the story about, and the Commissar wonders if Pravda will start a Grauniad-esque letter campaign.

Just a reminder, I started a little love-in for Putin right at about the point that he started entering the public lexicon as a diluted stand-in for Hitler. And, it was for reasons utterly unrelated to domestic politics. (jb and V-man were pretty much on the same page as well)

Thanks, Nathan, especially for that Kevin link. The comments there (by some PBA RotFront)are quite amusing.
