Thanks for the birthday wishes. I’m so exhausted from staying up last night until three watching Dan Rather’s slow collapse that I may be out of commission as far as enjoying the day goes.

Whenever there political news good for Republicans comes out, Jeff Goldstein of Protein Wisdom chimes in with how hard his nipples are. The harder they are, the better the news is/will be. I believe it is the most accurate indicator in political science now. When they’re hard enough to etch crystal, well, the news is good.
