WoC Roundup (and the airing of college rivalries)

This month’s Winds of Change briefing is posted. It’s a bit earlier this month.

While you’re over there, take a cruise around. Things are changing here and there over there. I particularly like the green and the yellow on the sides. It reminds me of my alma mater:


And, let me take the opportunity to mention Laurence, that the Bruins shall suffer this weekend. Bigtime. You can have the Berkeley win (man that was a heartbreaker), but losing to two California bear teams is something the Green and Gold tolerate this year 🙂

While I’m on the topic of the University of Oregon and its football team, let me just mention that I prefer the old lyrics to the fight song that are criticized as sexist to the new ones. I just feel that the original lyrics capture that it’s not about whether we win or lose, but about how much ass we kick during the first half.
