STG: Help Build an English Library

by Nathan Hamm on 11/22/2004

Strengthen The Good has a great use for your old books. Alan’s friend, Douglas Dart, is in Bratislava teaching English at The C.S. Lewis Bilingual Gymnazium. He is trying to set up an English language library for his students.

Some of you may know that one of my major projects in Uzbekistan was something similar. It certainly would not have opened with the diversity of books that it did without contributions from people in the U.S. (and we certainly would not have had the original copy of that Pixies song either). So, if you have some of the books on the list lying around, or anything else worth sending, please check out Alan’s post and send something to Douglas.
