Turkmenbashi says that the Turkmen army will be equipped with the most advanced military equipment available.

The Turkmen army will be equipped with the most advanced weaponry, said on Friday Turkmen President Saparmurat Niyazov.

“Turkmenistan intends, in future too, to equip its armed forces with the most advanced hardware,” he said, summing up the results of the tactical exercise with field firing, called Powerful Motherland. The president also said that all participants in “the military review” would receive prizes, appropriating 100,000 US dollars for this purpose.

Keep in mind that “most advanced hardware” means “most advanced hardware that Ukraine and Georgia have to offer.”
