Wicked Americans Strike Again

First it was stealing Russian lakes and now it’s poisoning Kyrgyz mushrooms.

No word yet on why Kyrgyz airplanes at Manas don’t cause mushroom poisonings. Probably because of the mushroom poisoning agents we add to American fuels.

Not at all related, but more evidence that MosNews is the world’s greatest news site. [I had to find a way to work this in because someone’s old lady might get upset if it ended up on his blog.]

That must be why I always got sick when I ate mushrooms in Uzbekistan! There was a base in Karshi and it must have polluted the ground so thouroughly that even in Tashkent the mushrooms induced illness.

God knows it can’t be that mushrooms at the bazaar are suspect.

Haven’t posted in a while. But I just wanted to second you, Nathan, in support of that fine piece by MosNews. I salute that photographer and his editor!
