A few announcements:

  1. Links to news items will no longer show up as posts every day. They are found to the left under the heading “News Wire.” The gray box will take you to the page with the last 50 or so links while the last 10 are displayed in the sidebar.
  2. People are still bringing the occasional issue to my attention regarding the new design. Please let me know if there is anything you think is missing, should be changed, etc.
  3. I really would like to enlist more regular and occasional contributors to write on Registan.net. I would like the site to be less dependent on whatever may be going on in my life at any given moment. (For example, it would be nice to avoid a two week outage while I am in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.) If you are interested, please do contact me.
