Music Video Madness

While Nathan’s traveling, I volunteered to help out with the most frivilous section on Registan: Central Asian music video clips.

From the Mongolian Coolio, Lumino, and his ladyfriend with some weird English dialogue:

And some other after the jump.

Here’s some fun ones:

Audi commercial or celebration of Tajik dinner tables? (Singing starts late, but it is worth the wait… check out the karaoke at the end)

And, to represent for Armenia, my absolutely favourite singer, Tata singing Kakhtsr (sweet) from the mid 1990s. There’s very little Armenian music video content on YouTube, so this is an oldie, but goodie.

The Armenian Qora Bumer, albeit not as celebratory, Kami Pchi by H.A.Y.Q.

The Georgian Debbie Gibson

That Tata clip is an absolute gem.

The Georgian Debbie Bigson is horrible.
