Excellent Opinion-Mongering

by Joshua Foust on 8/26/2008

The L.A. Times is hosting a week-long discussion between Reason editor Michael C. Moynihan and Andrew Meier, the former Moscow correspondent for Time and author of Black Earth (a beautiful and moving book I cannot recommend reading enough). They’re talking about the Rise of Russia, and so far have covered what Putin might have wanted from the Georgian conflict, and whether it is a good idea to expand NATO as far east as Georgia and Ukraine.

The first two days are here, and they’ll be posting daily updates through Friday.
