Burn your CDs

by Nathan Hamm on 2/23/2004

And they dare call it a business when it is more accurately described as a racket…

I just got my first payment from the first lawsuit I’ve ever participated in, the Compact Disc Minimum Advertised Price Antitrust Litigation settlement. There was a time when a windfall of $13.86 would have been spent on a CD, but no longer.

In other personal news, I am apparently a bit of a masochist, unintentional as it may be.

I will be hosting this week’s Bonfire of the Vanities, and I encourage you to send a link to your worst post along with any self serving excuses or clever self mocking to: bonfire at wizbangblog.com by 9 pm EDT on Monday.

Kevin is looking for people to host the Bonfire if you’re interested.

Also on Tuesday is this month’s Central Asia summary over at Winds of Change (last month’s is here if you need to bone up).
