Amnesty International held a protest in front of the Uzbek embassy in Moscow against the death penalty. Ferghana.ru says that there were probably more journalists than protesters, and from the pictures, it looks like a handful of the protesters came out to represent the rock musician community. Thinly-attended protests and rock musicians you’ve never heard of being all political and stuff? Well, in some ways, Russia and the West aren’t all that different.
