Of all the dirty tricks…
It turns out that the KelKel link I had been using was for a youth group created by pro-government forces to create confusion. I’ve fixed it in the links on the right. You can visit the real deal right here.
I got the clarification from the superb Thinking-East.Net, where there is a discussion going on with a rather annoying fellow going by the name of “Absamat.”*
Also, Ben, one of the guys responsible for Thinking-East.Net, is posting all kinds of news at his blog.
P.S. — RFE/RL has more on KelKel.
*He had left behind some anti-Semitic remarks about me on another post on the site that have since been removed. I guess that I’m mistakenly believed to be Jewish so often, it’s inevitable that someone would eventually make some kind of nasty comment. Or maybe it’s that generic “all who disagree are Zionist dogs” kind of thinking that’s emblematic of HT members and the like.

The annoying Absamat
Hi Nathan!
My name is Sascha and I’m a student at Portland State (I see you’re from Roseburg!) writing about the youth groups involved in the colorful revolutions. I’m trying to track down an email address for someone in KelKel but they don’t seem to have a vibrant web presence. The link you put to the “real KelKel” is now some kind of cheap plane tickets/Viagra “search engine” type site…do you have any idea as to how I might track ‘em down?
I’m sure I have some more insightful questions but that’s the only one right now…
