Ferghana.ru

by Nathan Hamm on 5/13/2005

I’ve heard that people inside of Uzbekistan cannot get to Ferghana.ru. The website is on fire. Tons of stories and there’s absolutely no way that I could keep up even if they were all in English.

For those able to access them, the newsline is here and the main news page is here. Lyndon has a translation of one of their stories–one claiming that hundreds have been killed–up.

For those in the country, Ozod Ovoz recommends the following proxies to try to get around blocks on sites: anonymizer.com, anonymouse.ws, safeproxy.org, kub.kz, anonymizer.ru, proxyone.com, guardster.com

I’ll try to skim through for the best when I can.
