UzReport.com Wants Your Anger
by Nathan Hamm on 9/6/2005
If you’re angry about FIFA’s decision to void Uzbekistan’s World Cup qualifier victory over Bahrain, that is.
The media and officials are discussing who benefited from the decision and many conclude that Bahrain did. FIFA punished Uzbekistan for mistake of the referee and robbed two legitimate goals of Uzbekistan.
Therefore we ask for your help Uzbekistan and push to FIFA to obey its No1 rule – Fair Play. Please send a protest note to FIFA and tell them that their order is wrong and unjust and they should ensure that FIFA’s motto Fair Play is not just words.
They even provide a (not particularly well written, in my opinion) letter and email addresses for the outraged.
Forum.uz has many threads on this with one member declaring an internet war on FIFA.
