Sunshine Uzbekistan a number of updates and news reports including a note from Sanjar Umarov. Here’s an excerpt:
They accuse me of charges that are just silly. Psychologically pressure me. Try to intimidate me. Threaten to use psychoactive drugs.
Nothing concrete, but from the words of investigators it’s clear that “financial charges” are just pretext to block the work of Sunshine Coalition.
They are most impressed, or angered, that we did everything in such a lawful way that they cannot accuse me of a political crime.

Over at Sunshine Uzbekistan, you can find numerous stories saying Sanjar Umarov is being drugged.

Uzbek prison is not the best place to make such bold statements… When one gets in there on political grounds – that’s it; there’s no way out of there. There is no such lawyer, no legal procedure that will work against the pre-determined outcome of an investigation, so I simply hope that Mr. Umarov will remain sane.
I’m sure he probably realizes that now, perhaps a bit too late:
