It seems only fair that we should be allowed to edit our own comments. The basic message, however, was that Azerbaijan was never going to be the site of a revolution. To fashion a democracy metaphor; no roots, arid soil, and a withered seed. The West is supposedly meant to be sowing, but where is it now? Look to the lifeless shores of the oil-rich Absheron peninsula and work it out for yourselves.
