A couple weeks ago, I posted my first impressions of Central Asian Voices, the new site from Martha Brill Olcott. James of neweurasia interviewed Dr. Olcott about the new project. I encourage those interested in CAV to check out the interview. I must admit that after reading the interview, I am much more interested in Central Asian Voices and excited about its aims.

I agree. I think the site initially suffered from poor promotion: it wasn’t entirely clear on what it was and what it was trying to accomplish. Now that Ms. Olcott has made that clearer, I’m a lot more optimistic about what it can produce.
