I don’t know why this is difficult for people to understand, but STOP STEALING MY WRITING. For the millionth time: excerpting is fine, and excerpting at length is fine. Wholesale copying, however, is not—ESPECIALLY when the writing is first person and could easily be mistaken for your own (and you clearly edit the entry enough to conform to an improper case, but not enough to establish proper authorship).
It really isn’t that hard.
UPDATE: As an example how to reference something properly, I present Mixeye. An editor there asked me if he could post an excerpt of a post I had written with a link back to the original. Of course he could, and I said yes. Though unnecessary (honestly, if you’re just quoting, so long as there is a link, feel free), he was polite in doing so, and I’m happy to link back to him. The site itself it interesting as well—I suggest checking it out.
