We’re With Stupid

by Joshua Foust on 8/1/2008

I’ve been remiss in not doing this, but I’m adding The Stupidest Man on Earth to the Registan.net blogroll, and to my own RSS reader. Not only has Jari Lindholm, a Finnish reporter with a lot of experience covering war zones, kindly linked here several times, he—much like my friend Steve LeVine—is a treasure trove of random stories about his work (see this account of how horribly Kabul changed from 1991 to 1993). Much to my embarrassment, I’ve let work duties and my anger-blogging here cloud my stickies reminding me to do this. I’m sorry for that, Jari.

Plus, anyone who can poke fun at Michael Yon’s rah-rah hackery from experience and not just annoyance deserves a big high-five. So hey, stupid guy—we’re happy to have you along!
