A bunch of Pakistani children from Peshawar have raised $261 of their Eid savings for “Uncle Obama,” hoping that somehow a) he can accept foreign contributions; b) this can’t be exploited by the McCain campaign already hinting that he’s a terrorist; and c) that he won’t do a single thing he’s promised about Pakistan.
“We have arranged this donation for the election campaign of Obama to invite him to play his role in resolving the problem through peaceful means,” said one of the boys holding a handwritten chart inscribed with “No violence.”
Via Pakistan: Now or Never. I applaud their desire for a non-violent resolution to the crisis… but Barrack Obama has explicitly promised to bomb Pakistan should he feel the need to.

What a ridiculous post! Must be a slow day. Is this guy for real?
The real take home here is how much the rest of the world is aware of what we do. How many Americans have any idea about what is happening in Pakistan? How many kids?
Steve
The fact that even kids in Pakistan see Obama as a sign of peace and stability seems yet another argument for his presidency.
It’s another sign that people outside the US are totally confused about what’s going on in United States–as much as Americans are confused about the world outisde.
if obama takes the money i’m taking back my vote
