Sayed Parwez Kambakhsh, the journalist student from Mazar-i Sharif who was sentenced first to death and then to 20 years for printing an Iranian website questioning the subjugation of women in Islam has been released after two years of prison.
While it remains an unacceptable miscarriage of justice to have imprisoned him in the first place, we are ecstatic to hear of his release, and wish him the best.
