Their take seems to be Furlong had a fair bit of official sanction, but overreached himself, exaggerating his importance.
Seems like he may have fallen into the age old trap of believing his own BS.
That still shot is awesome – my first guess was you had some sort of “rehydrater” backpack or beer-can-hat, and the microphone was the slurpy straw.
My snarkiness aside, good interview, as usual.
